Meditation among the trees

Both the powerful and subtle forces of nature offer a wealth of knowledge to those who can take time out from their lives to just connect with them. The whispers on the wind and the murmurings of the elementals impart their secrets and invite us to share their wisdom. The earth mother is a great teacher to those who are willing to listen with an open heart and mind.

This is based on designs from Lorraine. c. 1300. The text was written in the twelfth century  and translated from Latin.

The Author was Marbod of Rennes and the piece  was called “Meditation among the trees.”

This style of illumination is French Gothic.
